Independence Day Celebration @ Kids Global School

Kids Global School, Marathahalli celebrated the 72nd Independence Day in all its patriotic spirit. The celebration was filled with Patriotic Speech, Drills and Cultural Events. The event kicked off with the National Flag being hosted by the chief guest Dr. K. M. Cherian and Salute from the Students and Teachers.

Dr. K. M. Cherian, Retired Officer from the Indian Airforce and Chairman Kids Global School and Lt. (Mrs). S. Cherian, Retired officer from Indian Airforce were the Chief Guest for the celebration. KGS Independence


Dr. K. M. Cherian in his speech highlighted that “We should remember the brave soldiers and the freedom fighters for their sacrifices. He also remembered the natural calamities that have made people of India suffer especially the floods that Keralaites are struggling with. He requested to pray for the people who is suffering from the natural calamities and we should pray to the almighty lord for keeping us away from all the natural calamities.

Director operations K. C. Mathew shared the various milestones that India had to undergo to seek India Independence. Student representatives took lead to share their thoughts, knowledge and understanding of India’s Independence through their patriotic speeches.

Students Cultural Show and Drills were the highlight of the Day. The Patriotism and Enthusiasm were witnessed in their performances. Students Talents and Pride of being Indian was witnessed in their performances. Students Drill performance was a colourful affair with the students dressed in tricolor and used in tricolour props.
