    Dear Parents and Well Wishers.

    KIDS GLOBAL SCHOOL has completed 15 fruitful years with various milestones. At the outset, we thank the Almighty Lord for all the blessings rendered to us.  Our journey started way back in June 1999 with few students and around 5 staff as KIDS PLAY SCHOOL. We have sailed a long journey and grown to become KIDS GLOBAL ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL with the recognition from the Govt. of Karnataka.

    Our commitment has been to ensure the overall holistic development of our students in addition to our efforts to impart the best education. We also provide equal importance to extracurricular activities like sports, physical education, self development etc. All our school activities and information are published in our Website: www.kidsglobal.net and www.kidsglobalschool.in.  We have been more social these days on our social media pages across Google+ and Facebook. Do subscribe and add yourself to get regular updates.

    The most important blessing was our new block addition to our existing infrastructure. We thank the almighty lord for all his blessings. Our school new block was blessed on 13th Oct 2013 by our chief patron Very Rev: K. I Philip Remban (Director of 12 Orphanages of the Malankara Orthodox Church) in association with Rev Fr: Mani K Varghese and Rev Fr: Joe Mathew, Vicar’s of St. Gregorious Orthodox Cathedral, Bangalore – 560025.

    We received the appreciation award for achieving 100% pass result in the previous SSLC examination held during April 2013. The award was presented by Honourable Transport Minister and Bangalore In-Charge Minister R. Ramalinga Reddy to Dr. K.M.Cherian, Chairman and Mrs. Mary Magdalen Head Mistress.   The award ceremony was hosted by the Bangalore South District High School Head Masters Association at the RV College Auditorium. The function was presided by Ms. Padmavathi, DDPI, Bangalore South. Kids Global School has achieved the 100% milestone for the Second year continuously. 

    Every year we set ourselves a Focus area and all our activities are aligned to this focus area. This year our focus is titled “Kids Global School – Learning Beyond the Books Program”. Our aim with this focus is to give more exposure on various topics which they learn in their books and classroom. We planned various activities to achieve this aim. The activities included Study tours to various places including Ice Cream Factory  , Big Banyan Tree , Kotilingeshwara Temple , Anthargange and Bangar Tirupati.

    As always, this year was filled with lot of celebrations which included Kargil day, Independence day, Teachers day, Vijay Diwas, Children’s day, Christmas & New Year, Republic day, School Annual day and our students’ birthdays.  It is not out of place to mention that the parents also take keen interest in these celebrations and encourage our children to develop National spirit.

    To ensure that our students are equipped to face any challenge, we have focused sessions on special topics including disaster management, first aid and health education, traffic rules, Social responsibilities, environmental studies, fire prevention, soft life skills, leadership skills, career planning and development etc.

    We had regular classes which included:

    -          Music and dance classes to incorporate the appreciation towards fine arts in the young minds.

    -          Moral education aims at creating responsible citizens for the nation and to help develop the spirit of brother hood and respect towards parents and elders.

    -          Weekly quiz program has been a special feature in our educational activities.

    -          Yoga, Meditations and physical education classes to ensure physical and mental fitness

    -          Knowledge of Computers for students from Std I

    Our students participated in various examination and workshop which included

    -       Science Talent Exam & Maths Talent Exam in November 2013.

    -       English Talent Exam

    -       Aptitude exam conducted by Times of India , Susmitha Sarkar of 10th Std was the topper from our school and won a Galaxy Samsung Tablet as prize.

    -       Indian Talent Exam  our student R.Megharaj of 8th std was won third prize .

    Our students participated in various inter school competition and bagged various prizes. To name a few:

    -       Our boy’s kabbadi team won in the taluk & district  level kabbadi  tournament

    -       Thanmayee.B.N & Rakshitha.R  from our the girls kabbadi team represented the State  level kabbadi  tournament and were among the winners.

    -       34 Students won various prizes at the Inter school Cultural Competition conducted by Marathahalli Cluster.

    As part of our Health and Hygenic Awareness program, We organised an Eye camp and Dental Camp with the help of Shanakara Eye Hospital & S.G.R Dental College and Hospital, This camp was supported  by AOL Online Limited on 12.12.2013

    P.T.A meetings has been regularly conducted every second Saturday to review the activities of our school and seek the parents participations and feedback about our activities.

    Every year we nominate the best outgoing students for the year. This award is for the overall performance across activities. This year the award is bagged by  Manoj Kumar.J & Kiran .P of 10th Standard.

    The best staff award was bagged by Mrs. Poongkodi, for her sincere work. Hearty Congratulations to all of them !!

    We are happy to inform you that we have upgraded our infrastructure including our computer lab, Science lab and Library.

    Our Management has a weekly meeting with all the teachers to review the activities of our school and plan the future. The syllabus and books have been revised to ensure that the students have the updated curriculum.

    Our students are benefited of getting medical care as Dr. K. M. Cherian and Lt. (Mrs) S. Cherian, who is retired from Air Force Hospital after 30 yrs. of service in the medical field. They are always available in the school premises to take care of the children.  Our employees and family members are enrolled with ESI Corporation for medical care .

    Our school management has given concession to 125 students which amount to approximately over One lakh.

    We honoured our last year STD X students with Cash Awards for obtaining Distinction in the SSLC examination 2013.  Nalini.K, Bhargava .S & Priyanka Shaw  received the award from our Chief Patron Very. Rev: K I Philip Remban.  Congratulations to all of them.

    We have collected a total sum of Rs. 51,706 /- as charity collection from our students and Karimpanethu Charitable Trust contributed Rs. 29,295/- . The consolidated sum of Rs.81,001/- was contributed to various organization  and individuals, which included

    Rs. 30,000/- given to Uttarkand  Chief Minister ‘s Relief Fund,  Rs. 1001/- for Prime Minister’s Relief fund,  Rs. 5,000/- for Karunashraya , Rs. 1000/- For  Vision India ,Rs. 44,000/- for Medical Expenses of deserving individuals.

    Kids Global School family comprises of 29 teaching staff, 7 Non-teaching staff and 3 drivers. All our staff members are well qualified and experienced in their respective field to take care for the children.

    Over and above our school is declared as Bhima School by LIC of India. Our school is providing LIC Services and all the students are insured for their life and health care. All our staff are covered with L.I.C of India, all our staff are enrolled with Employees Provident Fund also.

    We have three school buses to pickup and drop our children safely to school and back home.

    We are thankful to the management of Kids Global School for all the support extended to this school. The school helps in transformation of the social, cultural and educational pattern of the people in this area.  Our Management provides opportunity for the differently-abled person with priority during appointment.  We also thank our media partners – Times of India, Deccan Herald and Malayala Manorama  for covering our activities.

    Annual Report 2012-13

    Dear Parents and Well wishers !!

    Season Greetings and Warm wishes for a blessed & Cheerful 2013 !!

    As we approach the end of this academic year and our 14th year of service towards providing quality education in Marathahalli since our inception in 1999. We will like to take this opportunity to thank the Almighty lord for his abundant blessings and guidance. We cannot forget the encouragement, support and guidance from our patrons, parents, students, teachers and our well wishers. These blessings and support helped us achieve a good year where we were able to teach our students “HOW to LIVE”.

    There is a great saying: Real education fetches you more than a job. It teaches you to live. It cannot be measured in any tangible way. 

    As we share the yearly updates of our activities, we take modesty to say that did more than what we planned and we are proud of our students and teachers who strive hard to achieved beyond expectation. As always, our focus was on holistic development of the students. Real education took the centre stage as every year. We incorporated new and updated books to ensure that we don’t compromise of the quality of the education imparted.

    Here is the glimpse of few activities and achievements:

    Results: We are happy to share the glad news that all our previous year standard X students who appeared for the SSLC examination passed in flying colors. We achieved 100% results with 11 % Distinction and 28% First Class.

    We take this opportunity to congratulate the Students for their excellent performance and warm wishes for bright future ahead. We pray to the almighty to guide these students in the right path and make them worthy for this society. Hope all their dreams and aspirations come true.

    Fancy dress competition – Every year we are always amused at the creativity and involvement by the students.

    Art & Craft exhibition – The highlight of the exhibition was the Science based models made by the students. The class X students built a working model of a hydraulic crane with the help of waste materials like wood, syringes and bearings.

    Celebrations – We celebrated all important days which included Nursery Welcome day, Kargil Day, Independence Day, Teachers Day, Indo-China War Celebration, Gandhi Jayanthi, Annual day, Childrens day and Christmas celebrations.  Students participated in all the celebrations in the right festive spirit.

    Competitions – We expose our students to competitions to help them build confidence. Some of the internal competitions included painting competition, quiz competitions, essay competitions and debates. Our students also participated in various external competitions which included:

    • Quiz, Dance, Essay, Story writing organized by Deccan Herald, Bangalore
    • Mathematics experiment and Quiz organized by Visveswariah Technological Museum, Bangalore
    • Dance, Clay Modelling, Singing, Essay writing organized by Education department
    • Quiz organized by Megamind, Bangalore
    • Pookalam Malsaram (Flower decoration) competition organized by Malayalam Manorama and Kerala Samaj.
    • International talent examinations which included Science, Mathematics, English, Kannada
    • Theme based drawing competition on energy conservation, water conservation and traffic

    Sports – We participated in various sports meet organized at zone, taluk and district level. Games we participated included Kabaddi, Cricket and Athletics. Our Kabaddi team won prizes at the Zone, Taluk and district level. 

    Industrial Visits – Our high school students had the privilege to visit the Lazza Ice Cream factory at Mysore road. Other visits included visit to the Visveswariah Technological Museum, Bangalore, Visit to Mysore, Cubbon park and Lal Bagh botanical garden.

    Awards: Every year we nominate the best outgoing students for the year. This award is for the overall performance across activities and studies. This year the award is bagged by Nalini.K & Pramod Kumar.M.E of 10th Standard. The best teacher award is bagged by Mrs. Kalpana. S.

    Hearty Congratulations to all of them !!

    Our students won various awards in International talent examinations which included Science, Mathematics, English and Kannada. Our students also won various awards in cluster level and Taluk level inter school competitions for cultural events and sports.

    Charity: As every year, we like to give back to the society for various noble causes, activities and support for the needy. Our consolidated donation to various organizations and needy individual was Rs. 92851/-. Total contribution from our students and teachers were Rs. 42369/-, which includes contribution from Vishal. K.B (5th Std.) of  Rs.5000/-. Karimpanethu Charitable trust contributed Rs. 50,482/- to make up for the short fall of funds. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the students and teachers for their voluntary contribution for Charity activities.

    Apart from the above contribution, our school management has given fees concession to 125 students which amount to approximately over three lakhs.

    Scholarship:

    • 10  students got scholarship from Directorate of minorities which amounts to about Rs. 38000/
    • We have also processed around 61 students for the SC/ST scholarship from Social Welfare department.

    Alumni association: To ensure we are connected with our students who pass out from our school, we have formed the Kids Global School Alumni Association (KGSAA). The association is started with the goal to help our students with higher educational scholarship, placement guidance, knowledge and financial support for entrepreneurial ventures.

    P.T.A meetings has been regularly conducted every second Saturday to review the activities of our school and seek the parents participations and feedbacks about our activities.

    Condolence: We keep it in record our heartfelt condolence and pray for the departed soul.of our student Kiran Kumar Chari   S/o. Mr. Deva Prakash & Mrs. Nagamani who left us on 23rd  June  2012.

    This year our focus was to encourage team effort among our students. We believe that we were successful, as the team spirit was exhibited in the internal events organized which included Fancy dress competition, Rangoli competition, Art & Craft exhibition and Drawing competition. We could sense the team spirit right from the team formation to the execution. We are proud of our students for practicing what we teach.

    -       Maths workshop conducted by Deccan Herald in January 2012.

    Our students participated in various inter school competition and bagged various prizes. To name a few:

    -       Our boy’s hockey team won in the taluk level hockey tournament

    -       The girls throw ball team won the taluk level throw ball tournament.

    -       Bhargava. S and Priyanka Shaw of Std IX bagged the prizes at the Chemistry Experiment Competition organized by the Visvesvaraya Technological Museum for the experiment on Hot Ice.

    -       Bhavana Osthwal of Std X. bagged 1st prize for flower decoration competition and Nandesh of Std IX won the 3rd prize for drawing competition organized by the R.J.S. College.

    -       22 Students won various prizes at the national, district and state level in the Maths Talent Examination, and       15 students in Science Talent exam.

    Our students and teachers outdoor activities included Study tours and picnics to various places including Bannerghatta National Park, Wonderla, SK Farms and Mysore.

    P.T.A meetings has been regularly conducted every second Saturday to review the activities of our school and seek the parents participations and feedbacks about our activities.

    Our teachers and management team attended various seminars and conferences which included

    -       Quality education

    -       Effective interaction and child psychology

    -       Making education succeed in a fast paced world

    -       New challenges in the classroom organized by Deccan Herald.

    These seminars and conferences help our teachers and management team to be familiar and updated with the new trends in the educational sector. Our Chairman, Dr. K. M. Cherian and Vice Chairman, Lt. (Mrs) S. Cherian were special invitees to the Armed Forces Flag Day function on 07 Dec 2011 at Rajbhavan, Bangalore.

The consolidated sum of  Rs. 57,000/- was contributed to various organization  and individuals, which included Rs. 37,000/- to Medical care, Rs. 10,000/- to Karunashrya, Kundannahalli, Bangalore, Rs. 5000/- to St. Gregorios Balagram, Yacharam. A.P. and Rs. 5,000/- to St. Paul Balagram, Itarsi, M.P.

    Kids Global School family comprises of 25 teaching staff, 7 Non-teaching staff and 3 drivers. All our staff members are well qualified and experienced in their respective field to take care for the children. Our Patrons Very Rev. K. I. Philp Remban and H.G. Dr. Philipose Mar Stophanos (Bishop of Idduki Diocese of the Malankara Catholic Church) visited our school.

D  of 7th std   passed away on 25th December  2011.  We keep it in record our heartfelt condolence and pray for the departed soul.

    Annual Report 2010 – 11

    Dear Parent and Well-wishers.

    With Great pleasure, we present you the 12th annual report of our school for the academic year 2010- 11.

    Introduction: We started our journey in June 1999 with few students and 5 staffs as KIDS PLAY SCHOOL. We have sailed a long journey and grown to become KIDS GLOBAL SCHOOL. We had 12 fruitful years with various milestones and today we grew up to the High school level with the recognisation from the Govt. of Karnataka.

    As our new commitment statement says: Creating future leaders with concrete human values. We have always had an holistic development approach of our students.  In addition to our efforts to impart quality education as per global standards,  we also provide equal importance to extra curricular activities like cultural programs, value education, sports, physical education, self-development etc.  We have been exploring various technology means to keep in touch with our parents. All our school activities and information are published in our web site: www.kidsglobal.net and www.kidsglobalschool.in.  We have been interacting with our parents via email: principal@kidsglobal.net . Very frequently we provide updates to our parents through SMS to their mobile phones.

    Activities: This year was also filled with lot of activities and we also appreciate the support and encouragement of our parents. Few of our activities include:

    Fancy dress competition: Students from all the classes – Nursery to Class X participated in the fancy dress competition organized at the school premises. We will like to mention that we have seen creativity, efforts and commitment from all the students.

    Health education program: There was special session every second Saturday of the month on various topics related to health, hygienic, counseling, nutrition etc. Mrs. Margaret of the family welfare department – St. John’s hospital, Bangalore, conducted these sessions. We take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Margaret.

    PTA meeting: PTA meeting has been a regular affair every second Saturday of the month. The objective of these sessions is to seek the parent’s participation and seek regular feedback.

    Special focus sessions: We organized sessions for the high school students on various topics like soft skills, disaster management, first aid, fire and safety, social responsibility, leadership skills, career planning and self development.

    Competitions: Our students participated in various competitive examinations to name a few: Science talent examination, General knowledge examinations, Jawahar Navodaya examination, Deccan herald quiz competitions, Seminar and quizzes at Visveswariah industrial and technological museum and competitions at the cluster level.

    Rangoli competition: As part of the Onam Celebrations, students from all the classes – Class I to X participated in the Rangoli competition organized at the school premises. The entire premises was colorful with active participations from the students.

    Art & Craft competition: Students organized and participated in the Art & Craft competition in the school premises. There was lot of creative items hand made and displayed.  The attraction of the day was the “Devil’s house” with a new sense of creativity.

    Study tours and Picnics: Students visited Visveswariah Industrial and technological Museum, Bal Bhavan (Cubbon Park), Bannerghata National park and Lalbagh to enjoy and also learn while having fun.

    Awards: Our hearty congratulations to these awardees.

    • Kids Global School was awarded with Darwin 200 award from Putani Vignana, Chitradurga.
    • Kids Global School bagged the best school award at National level for the Science talent examination conducted by Putani Vignana, Chitradurga.
    • 18 Students secured national and state level awards for the Science talent examination conducted by Putani Vignana, Chitradurga.
    • Our Head Mistress Mrs. Magdalen Mary was awarded with Dr. S Radhakrishna award from Karnataka Prathibha Academy and also was honored by RJS PU College, Marathahalli, Bangalore.
    • Banupriya .G .N (Std IX) secured the 1st Prize in Essay competition and also Bhavana Osthwal R (Std IX) secured the 3rd prize in English debate competition.
    • Best Students awards: Every year we nominate the best students of the academic year. This award is for the overall performance of the students in all the activities. This year the award is bagged by

    Asif Ahmmed Qureshi  (Std X) and  Ashwini Mary (Std X).

    • Best teacher award: Mrs. Shirley George bagged this best teacher award for this year.

    Dignitaries’ visit: We had many dignitaries visiting us and guiding us in our activities. Few of them are: our chief patron Very Rev: K I Philip Remban (Director of 10+ orphanages/old age homes of the Malankara Orthodox Church), Our patron Dr. Philipos Mar Stephanos (Bishop of Idukki Diocese of the Malankara Catholic Church), Dr. Abraham Mar Youlious (Bishop of Moovatupuzha Diocese of the Malankara Catholic Church) and Lt Col V Saraswathi (Joint Director – Sanik Welfare).

    Charity Collection and Contributions: As usual our students participated whole-heartedly in the charity collection effort to help the deserving and to help the needy.  The total contribution included Rs: 25645.00. Our sincere thanks to the students for their contribution for Charity work.

    • Bala Narasimha (Std VI) & Sai Narasimha (Std IV) –  Rs: 1000.00
    • Collections from other students -  Rs: 21645.00

    Donations: Karimpanethu Charitable Trust added Rs. 21355.00 to the contributions from the students, which amounted to the total amount to Rs. 47,000.00.   Donations were given to the following organizations/individuals:

    • Rs. 10000 – Dayabhavan (Orphanage and AIDS patients care center at Bhakthrahalli, Kunigal);
    • Rs.   6000 – NAMS Snehasadan (Orphanage and Old age home at Jalahalli, Bangalore );
    • Rs .  5000 – Karunashraya (Terminal care center for the Cancer patients)
    • · Rs. 26000 – Individuals for medical care

    Valedictory function: The management and teachers organized a grand function to facilitate the outgoing Std X students.

    Celebrations: We celebrated all the key functions including Kargil day, Independence day, Republic day, Teacher’s day, Children’s day, Christmas & New year, School annual day and our students Birthday’s.

    Management: Our Management, which includes individuals from various fields, has provided all the support and guidance to ensure that we maintain the set standards and commitment. The management has weekly meeting with all the teachers to review the activities of our school and plan for the future. Our Management provides opportunity for the differently able person with priority during appointment.  Fees concession was granted to 125 students which amounts to approximately over Rs.100000.00.

    Medical care: Immediate attention and guidance is always available due to the presence of   Dr. K. M. Cherian (chairman) and Mrs. S. Cherian (Retd Medical Officer from Air Force)

    Condolence: One of our student  Kum: Tanvi Agrawal (D/o. Mr. Ritesh Agarwal & Mrs. Shweth Agarwal) passed away on 20th October 2010. One of our parent: Mr. Virupakash (Father of Manju B.V  (Std VII)  & Varun B.V  (Std II) passed away on 20th August 2010. Mr. Irudhayanathan (Father of our teacher Maria Jaishankar) passed away on 18th February 2011. Mrs . K. P. Mariamma (Patron) passed away on 06 January 2011.  We keep it in record our heartfelt condolence and pray  for the departed soul.

    Media: We had frequent coverage of our school activities in Deccan Herald (Students edition) and Malayala Manorama.

    Facilities: The syllabus and books have been revised to ensure that the students have the updated curriculum. More work books have been introduced in Nursery section to help teachers to pay personal attention to the students. Our facilities include Quality infrastructure with full fledged computer lab, Science lab and Library.  We have 3 school buses for the students. Over and above our school is declared as Bhima School by LIC of India. Our school is providing LIC Services and all the students are insured of their life and health care.

    Our family: Our family includes 23 teaching staff, 7 Non-teaching staff  and 3 drivers. Our staff are qualified and experienced in their respective field to ensure care for the children.

    We would like to thank the students, parents, teachers, management, media & our well-wishers for all the enhanced support and encouragement. This is the support that helps us move ahead and in maintaining high standard of education and discipline in our school. We are also thankful to the management for all the support extended to this school. The school has helped in the transformation of the social, cultural and educational pattern of the students in this society.

    Annual Report 2009 – 10

    Dear Parents and well wishers.

     

    We take the opportunity to share with you our 11th annual report for the academic year 2009- 10. We have completed 11 years with various milestones and now we have grown to High school level with the recognization from the Govt. of Karnataka.

     

    As always, this year was filled with lot activities and celebrations, which have showcased the hidden talent of our students and the overwhelming support of our parents. Some of the celebrations are  Kargil day, Independence day, Teachers day, Children’s day, Christmas & New year celebratrion, Republic day, School Annual day and our students birthdays.

     

    Our commitment has been to ensure the overall holistic development of our students, thereby in addition to all our efforts to impart the best education, we also provide equal importance to extra curricular activities like sports, physical education, self development etc. All the school  activities updates and photographs are shared in our website – www.kidsglobal.net and www.kidsglobalschool.in .  We ensure we respond to all the mails that reach us through our official email ids: principal@kidsglobal.net, contactus@kidsglobal.net . We also take initiatives to provide  regular updates to our parents through SMS to their mobile numbers.

     

    Yoga & Meditations classes were conducted; Music and dance periods were utilized to incorporate the value of appreciation towards fine arts in the young minds. Moral education aims at moulding responsible citizens for the nation by developing the spirit of brother hood and respect towards parents and elders. Weekly quiz program from Monday to Saturday has been a special feature in our educational activities.  Computer education is part of the regular syllabus for all the students from 1st Std.

     

    Health education  program is conducted every second Saturday with the help of  St.John’s Hospital, we express our  sincere  thanks and gratitude to Mrs. Margaret of Family welfare Department for hosting this program regularly in our school premises .

     

    P.T.A meeting is conducted every second Saturday to review the activities of our school and get the parents participations and feedbacks into our activities.

     

    To ensure that our students are more equipped to face any challenge, we have included focus on  special subjects like disaster management, First aid and health education, traffic rules, Social responsibilities, environmental studies, fire prevention, soft skills, leadership skills,  career planning and development etc.

     

    Students from the 3rd to 6th std were encouraged to appear for the Science Talent Exam on 12th September 2009. Our 8th standard  students appeared for the National talent exam on 8th November 2009.  Our  5th standard students appeared for the  Jawahar Navodaya Exam on 7th February 2010.

     

    Our students and teachers outdoor activities included Picnic to lalbagh, Cubbon park, Bal bhavan and study tour to Vishveshwariaya museum & Krishi (Agriculture) mela at G.K.V.K.

     

    We also participated in various inter school competition and our students secured various prizes at regional and national level.

     

    We congratulate the best students and teacher for the year 2009, This award is from the overall performance of the students in all the activities. This year the award is bagged by Sunny Kumar (8th Std) and Priyanka shaw  (7th Std). The best teacher award was bagged by Mrs. Dhanalakshmi.

     

     

     

    We are happy to inform you that at present we have a  full fledged computer lab, Science lab and Library .

     

    Our Management has a weekly Saturday meeting with all the teachers. The agenda of these meetings are to review the activities of our school and plan for the future.     Medical care: Our students are benefited of getting medical care immediately, as Dr. K. M. Cherian our chairman and Mrs. S. Cherian, who is retired from Air Force Hospital after 30 yrs of service in the medical field. They are always available in the school premises to take care of the children. We have  involved in the national plus polio programs.

     

    Our school management has given concession to 108 students which amounts to approximately over Rs. 100,000/-. ( One lakh )

     

    We have collected sum of Rs. 53821/- as charity collection from our students, of which the contributions were –

    • Rs. 35,000/-  to  Karnataka Flood Relief Fund
    • Rs. 30,000/-  to  Medical care for 12 Patients
    • Rs. 10,000/-  to  Yesu Bhavan (Old age home), C/o RCC, Dharmaram Post, B’lore-29
    • Rs. 10000/-   to  Dayabhavan (Home for AIDS patients), Kunigal
    • Rs.   6000/-   to  NAMS Snehasadan (Orphanage) Vidyaranyapura, B’lore -97
    • Rs.   5000/-   to  Karunashraya (Terminal care for cancer patients), Kundanahalli, B’lore -37
    • Rs.   5000/-   to  St. Gregorios Balagram, Yacharam, RR Dist, Andhra Pradesh.

     

    The total contribution amounts to Rs. 101000/-, the difference amount Rs. 47179/- was sponsored by the Karimpanethu Charitable Trust.

    Annual Report – 2008-09

    Dear Parents and Students,

    With great pleasure, we present to you the 10th annual report of our school for the academic year 2008 – 09.

    We started our journey in June 1999 with few students and 5 staffs as KIDS PLAY SCHOOL. We have sailed a long journey and grown to become KIDS GLOBAL SCHOOL. We had 10 fruitful years with various milestones and today we grew up to the High school level with the recognization from the Govt. of Karnataka .

     

    The blessing of our school building  after renovation  was conducted  on 25th October 2008 by Our Chief Patron,  Very Rev. K. I. Philip Remban, accompanied by  Very Rev. Abraham Marret  Cor Episcopa, Rev. Fr. T.K. Thomas and Fr. Jinesh Varkey, Secretary of Dayabhavan, Kunigal.

     

    As always, this year also was filled with lot of activities, to mention some of them: Kargil day, Independence day, Teachers day, Children’s day, Christmas & New year, Republic day, School Annual day and our students birthdays. It is not out of place to mention that the parents also take keen interest in these celebrations and encourage our children to develop National spirit during these days.

    All our 8th standard students have appeared for the National talent exam on 16th November 2008.  Our 5th standard students also appeared for the  Jawahar Navodaya Exam during February 2009.

    Our students and teachers outdoor activities included Picnic to Lalbagh for flower show, Cubbon park, Bal bhavan and study tour to PARLE Biscuit factory, Tumkur Road on 12th September 2008.

    On 1st November 2008 our students were taken for AEROSEM exhibition at ADE Complex.

    Our students participated in various inter school competition and got various prizes for the same.

    Every year we nominate the best students for the year, this award is from the overall performance of the students in all the activities. This year the award is bagged by Bhargava. S (6th Std) and Mohana (8th Std). The best teacher award was bagged by Mrs. Magadlen Mary. Hearty Congratulations to all of them.

    We are happy to inform that at present we have a full fledged computer room, Science lab and Library room.

    • Rs. 10,000/-  contributed to different people for medical care.

    The total contribution amounts to Rs. 31,000/- , the difference amount Rs. 16340/- was sponsored by the Karimpanethu Charitable Trust.

    Our school annual day was celebrated on 20th December 2008. The day was filled with lot of enthusiasm and excitement with all students showcasing their talents. The chief guest was Dr. Subhash Sharma, Founder Director, Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore and currently he is Dean, Indian Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore.

    Kids Global School family comprises of 20 teaching staff, 7 Non-teaching staff and 3 drivers. All our staff are well qualified and experienced in their respective field to take care for the children.

    Over and above our school is declared as Bhima School by LIC of India. Our school is providing LIC Services and all the students are insured of their life and health care.

    We have three school buses to pickup and drop our children safely to school and back home.

    Condolence: One of our student  Kum. Chandani. R   D/o of Mr. Ramesh & Mrs. Jai eswari passed away on 17th December 2008 . One of our parent. Mr. Shekar Raju (Father of Sushma of 6th Std  & Spoorty of 3rd Std) passed away on 29th November 2008. We keep it in record our heartfelt condolence and pray for the departed soul .
